Hi. I’m Paul Wilson and I’m enjoying doing stuff that I didn’t have time to do before retiring in 2012. My focus is on the use of computing technology in our collecting activities. By ‘collection’ I mean any one or more things, in the same or different places, that we designate as a collection. Once designated, we can then do things like add to, organise, use, and show the collection; and it is the impact of Information Technology (IT) on these activities that is explored in this website and summarised in the OFC tutorial.

In all these activities I’m hoping to meet some interesting people along the way to help me navigate the terrain. Feel free to reply to the posts in this blog (latest posts are at the top – if you want to get the story as it happened, start at the bottom).
